IMPORTANT NOTE:
PolyPlus
and Polystrand Corrections:
THEY DO NOT need an insulator as depicted in the install guide
and is in error. A correction is being made to this file
and will be changed as soon as the factory changes the guide.
Until then, please note the changes below. |

|
| Attaching
PolyPlus and PolyStrand to the Terminations |
| After
pairing out your line, take one end and affix it to the posts
with 1 1/2 inch barbed fencing staples hammering down into
the polymer. |
 |
|
| Attach
a ratchet tensioner to the post with
a 5" ring shank nail. If you wish, you can use a 1/4"
lag bolt, 4 to 5 inches long instead. If you use a lag bolt,
PRE-DRILL A PILOT HOLE FIRST!
CAUTION:
DO NOT HAMMER OR TIGHTEN DOWN TIGHT YOUR NAIL OR BOLT CRUSHING
THE TENSIONER. THE TENSIONER SHOULD FLOAT JUST A BIT UP
AND DOWN. |
 |
| At
the other end of your line, strip the wire as shown using a wire
stripper (polymer stripper).
The 4" inch bead of wire with polymer should be wrapped on
the barrel of the rachet tensioner once it is tighten. |
 |
| Tighten
up tight with tensioner handle. |
